I don’t know what’s come over me but I haven’t been a good girl with my diet. I was rather disciplined for awhile but I’ve reverted to eating lots of junk food, chocolates and ice creams. Now, I’m paying the price, breaking out with big pimples on my left cheek! Because the Lavera Blemish Stick Concealer is only effective on small pimples on my forehead, I decided to try another DIY spot acne recipe. This time using aspirin, green tea and tea tree oil.
Burt’s Bees Very Volumizing Shampoo
I fell out of love with Burt’s Bees after they were bought over by Clorox in 2007 but this Burt’s Bees Very Volumizing Pomegranate & Soy Shampoo is making me love the brand all over again! It’s rocking good stuff and until now, I still can’t believe that a natural shampoo free of Sodium Lauryl/Laureth Sulfate can give my fine limp hair volume and also control my greasy scalp at the same time!
10 skin care ingredients that I avoid & why
A big thanks to all who participated in my poll last Friday to find out how many of you are into natural or organic skin care products. I received 103 responses – out of which 23% use only natural or organic skin care products, while 63% use natural or organic skin care products whenever possible and 14% are not into using such products at all. Some of you also commented that not all natural or organic skin care products are genuine and may still contain some undesirable ingredients. Others commented that natural and organic skin care products may not be entirely beneficial – something I’ve discussed in an earlier entry are organic and natural skin care products useless?
Kiss My Face Treat Mint SPF15 Lip Balm
I was quite surprised to find Kiss My Face products at Vitakids, a place which I get vitamin supplies for my kid. Kiss My Face is a range of natural beauty products from US and I saw a small selection at the Paragon outlet comprising of cleansers and lotions. I decided to try out their Treat Mint SPF15 Organic Lip Balm. It retails for S$8.20 but as a member, I received a 10% discount.

By now, I’m sure you’re aware that apart from the air, infections can spread via your hands as they come into direct contact with your mouth, nose, and conjunctiva of the eyes. Therefore, practicing proper hand hygiene is the easiest way to help reduce infections.
